Beginning next month, PBS Kids will begin airing the series Lomax: The Hound of Music. This delightful collection of children’s programs is designed to teach traditional folk music and movement to a preschool audience. The shows feature puppets, actors and even some local musicians. The series was produced entirely at Eyevox Studio in Ridgeland, Mississippi. Watch for LOMAX local PBS station.
The State of Mississippi has passed a groundbreaking tax incentive for
filmmakers called the Mississippi Motion Picture Incentive Program (HB 1190/SB 2997). The enhanced benefit package for producers of motion pictures, television, documentaries, short films, and commercial production paves the way for Mississippi to become a premiere filmmaking location. Learn more about both the increased percentages and the streamlined process of the Mississippi Motion Picture Incentive Program here.
Combine the vision of your project with these exciting incentives and the resources of Eyevox, and there can be only one possible outcome: moviemaking history.
